We are a volunteer fire department with some career paid personnel. Our department is in constant need of individuals who are willing to volunteer their time and efforts in service to their community.

As you page through this web site you will see members of our Fire Department involved in various activities and programs. Examples include teaching, helping people in distress, training for new firefighters. Your firefighters are very proud of the tradition of the fire service, that being to, "Protect and to serve ever vigilant and always on guard." We take great pride in our equipment, training, and of each other. We are Volunteers. Whether you choose to be involved in becoming the men and women who help fight fires and treat vehicle accident victims, support activates, we have a position for you!

When asked how do you find the time and how can you work around what you see the answer is very simple. Once you do something that affects the life of someone, such as removing them from a badly damaged vehicle or sparing their home from fire or just providing comfort to someone, a great feeling grows in you. Work and time spent in the fire/rescue service is a very small price to pay to help your family, friends and neighbors. Having the knowledge to face situations and to correct dangerous problems as a team adds to the adventure of emergency services.

Our training is intense due to the nature of our business. As we provide fire, rescue and first responder medical services to our community. This requires a broad base of trained personnel in many support positions. Not everybody can or wants to be a firefighter, we understand that. If you think you are interested in becoming part of the crew, come buy our Station #3 and check us out.  We can promise that you will be challenged by the training and rewarded by the fellowship. It's only two hours a week and a few hours a month to serve your community in the most rewarding way. Plus we have a whole lot of fun!

Our meetings are held on Thursday nights at 7:00 PM and typically last till 9:00 PM. The fire station address is 9830 Hughes Road, Houston Tx.77234.  During the meeting you will be asked to stand up and introduce yourself. This is not done to embarrass you, but to put a name and a face together. Please plan to stay the whole meeting to see how we train and meet some of the members.
